On June 20, 1986 afte five years of study, Deacon Carlos was ordained a Permanent Deacon by Bishop Daniel P. Reilly for the Diocese of Norwich, Connecticut. Bishop Reilly assigned him to work with the Hispanic community at Saint Mary's Church in New London, CT.
Three years later he moved to the beautiful state of Florida, here in Port St. Lucie and was assigned by Bishop Daly to work with the Hispanic community at Holy Family Catholic Church. On August 8, 2003 Deacon was reassigned to St. Lucie Catholic Church by Reverend Charles Notabartolo, Diocesan Administrator for the Palm Beach Diocese.
Here at St. Lucie Church, Deacon Carlos serves the parish by teaching baptism classes and works with those seeking annulments. He brings Holy Communion to the sick at their homes, hospitals and/or Hospice. He also serves our parish community with his gentle and joyful spirit.
